讓一件事正式算數
核心那一面:經過檢查或蓋章之後,這件事就有效了。
confirm as true or valid · verb · B2
to prove that something is true or correct by careful checks, or to make a paper or agreement officially acceptable.
驗證;證實;使生效
Picture a stamp coming down on a document: from this moment the paper counts. Before the stamp it was just a claim; after it, it holds. Validate is that act of making something count — a result confirmed by checking, a ticket marked at the counter, or a person's feelings acknowledged out loud so that they, too, are treated as real.
