不予受理、不予考慮
揮走的不是人而是一件事:它被判定不值得繼續,於是就此打住。
dismiss (an idea) · verb · B2
To decide that an idea, feeling, or possibility is not important enough to think about seriously.
不予理會
Picture someone in authority a hand: you may go — and the matter is closed. Dismiss is that wave. Aim it at a class and they leave the room; at an employee and they leave the job; at an idea and it leaves your mind ; at a court case and it goes no further. In every one, someone with the standing to do so ends it.
