From Latin fluens 'flowing', present participle of fluō 'to flow'.
源自拉丁文 fluens「流動的」，從 fluō「流」來。
Picture water running without catching on anything: no stops, no backing up, no hunting for the next bit. Fluent describes that quality wherever it shows — in someone's speech, in a piece of writing, even in the way a body moves.
