被某個力量抓住的人
這一組的人都是被抓的那一方,句型也一樣:be possessed by 加上抓住他的東西。
adjective · B2
If someone is possessed, people believe that an evil spirit has taken hold of their mind and is making them speak and act in a way that is not their own.
被附身
One way to hold this word: possess means to own or take hold of, and possessed is the other end of that, the side being held. Once you ask two questions, all three meanings fall into place. What is doing the holding? And is the person the one held, or the one holding? An evil spirit holds a person; a huge feeling holds a person; a fine mind is held by its owner.
