You can think of capture as reaching out, catching something that was free or moving, and holding it so it cannot get away. The grip is the whole picture: a prisoner caught, a town taken, an animal trapped — and then the same grip stretched to softer things, like catching a feeling on film or catching someone's attention so it stays on you.

可以想成 capture 是伸手抓住一個原本自由或在動的東西，然後牢牢扣住、不讓它跑掉。那個「抓牢」的動作比較像整個畫面：被俘的囚犯、被攻下的城、被困住的動物——再把同樣的抓握延伸到比較柔軟的東西上，像把一種感覺拍進照片裡留住，或抓住某人的注意力讓它停在你身上。
