核心畫面

Picture reaching out and ending up with more than you had before — usually something good, and usually because you worked for it. That arrow pointing upward, from less to more, is the heart of the word. Sometimes what grows is a possession or benefit; sometimes it is a number going up (weight, speed, value); sometimes it is the effort of pushing forward and finally reaching a place. The noun is simply the 'more' you ended up holding.
