核心畫面

Picture something sitting higher than the level it would normally sit at, and held there. The plainest version is a railway track: it should be lying on the ground, but it has been lifted onto supports and now runs above the street, with cars passing underneath. Every other use keeps that lifting and changes what is lifted — a number lifted above its normal range, a person lifted above the others in an organisation, a way of speaking lifted above everyday talk, an account lifted above the limits an ordinary user has. The word usually says that something or someone put it up there; it is not a thing that was simply born tall.
