把提供的東西收回、停止
抽回的不是實體,而是原本一直在提供的東西:援助、服務、承諾——本來源源不斷,現在停了。
withdrawal (of support) · noun · C2
the act of taking away or stopping something such as help, an offer, or a service.
撤回;取消
Picture pulling something back out of a place it had been put into — troops out of a country, money out of an account, your name off a list, a statement taken back. Two things are always true: it was in, and now it is being drawn out. The last one is the hardest, because there the thing being withdrawn is a drug the body had come to expect, and what is left is the gap.
