You can picture test as deliberately putting something into a situation that forces the truth out: you set up a task, a check, or a hard moment, and watch what comes back. The exam, the blood check, the trial run, the hardship — all of them are the same move: 'I don't just trust it, I try it and see what it really is or can do.'
