放上架子
最貼著畫面的一組:真的有一個架子,東西被放上去。
verb · B1
To put things onto a shelf, especially books. It is the ordinary word for the job of getting books or goods back where they belong.
上架
A shelf: a flat board fixed at some height, where a thing is set down and simply stays. Putting something up on a shelf lifts it out of your hands without throwing it away — it sits still, it waits, and you can reach it again. The shape matters too. A shelf is a flat step sticking out from a wall, so ground that steps down in wide flat looks like the same thing.
Wiktionary records the verb as a back-formation from shelves, the plural of shelf, which is why the shelf picture sits under every use of the transitive verb.
來源資料說這個動詞是從 shelves(shelf 的複數)倒推出來的。先有架子,才有「把東西放上架子」這個動作,所以架子的畫面幾乎貼著字面。
