播放的暫停
把人停下來的動作交給機器:影片或音樂停在原地,位置留著,等你回來從同一點繼續。
pause (a recording) · verb · A2
to press a button so that music, a film, or a game stops for a short time and can start again from the same place.
按暫停
Picture a speaker who stops mid-sentence, holds the silence for a second, and then carries on. The stopping is temporary and the restart is already assumed — that is what separates a pause from an end. The button on a remote does exactly the same thing to a film.
