核心畫面
One way to picture 'red': the colour of blood and of a ripe tomato — the most vivid, attention-grabbing colour we have. Everything spreads from that one bright patch. It names the colour itself (as adjective and as noun), it describes things that are this colour or near it (hair, a face, dark wine), and because blood-red is so loud and emotional, it became a flag for strong feelings and ideas: a bull's rage, a VIP welcome, anger, even a political movement. A couple of money phrases borrow the old red ink that bookkeepers used for debts.
