porky is simply pork with -y on the end: having something of pork about it. On food that is literal — the smell or the taste a piece of pork puts into the pot. On a person it becomes a comparison to the animal: soft and round, said as a joke and usually about oneself, though the pig is still in there and can sting. The third meaning does not come from the pig at all. It comes from a rhyme: pork pie rhymes with lie, and the pie was dropped.

The adjective is pork plus -y; pork goes back through Old French porc to Latin porcus, a pig. The noun meaning a lie is a different route: a clipping of the rhyming-slang pork pie.
