plastic (mouldable) · adjective · A2
Soft enough to be pressed or shaped into different forms, and keeping that shape afterwards.
The material is named after what it does: while it is warm it can be pushed into any shape, and when it cools it stays that way. From the material come the everyday uses — anything made of it, and the little cards you pay with. And because factory-made things can feel a bit lifeless, the word also became a way of saying something seems fake.

plastic (fake-seeming) · adjective · A2
Looking or tasting fake and not natural, as if made by a machine rather than being real.
假的
