來把人或東西帶走
這一家最貼近核心畫面,幾乎沒有變形:有人到某個地點,把人或東西拿起來帶走。一個是這件事本身,一個是做這件事的車。
noun · B1
An occasion, time or arrangement when someone or something is collected from a place — a person being fetched by car, or goods and rubbish being taken away.
接送/收取
You can think of pick-up as the everyday act of picking something up, frozen into a noun: a hand reaches out, takes hold, and carries the thing away. Three small movements sit inside that picture — reaching, lifting, taking away — and the different meanings each keep one of them. Keep 'coming to take it away' and you get the collection, and the small open-backed truck that does the carrying. Keep the lifting and you get things rising: sales rising again, a car lifting its speed. Keep the reaching-and-catching and you get the guitar part that catches the sound of the strings.

往上抬起來
把東西拿起來的動作裡,本來就含著「往上」那一段——手一抬,東西離地。把這一段單獨抽出來,就得到這一家:原本低低趴著的數字被抬起來,原本慢慢走的車被抬到快。
noun · B2
A rise or improvement in something such as sales, spending, trade or the economy — a change that is good for business, usually after a slow or weak time.

把聲音撿起來
這一家把「伸手接住」用在看不見的東西上:接的不是箱子,是弦的震動。
noun · B2
An electronic part on a musical instrument, especially an electric guitar, that takes the sound of the strings and turns it into a signal so it can be made louder.

A person you did not know before, met at a bar, a party or a similar place, and had sex with. The word names the person by that one meeting.
