把火借去講強度
這一支不再講溫度,改講「強到像火」。火的哪一面被借走,意思就往哪邊走:借走那股逼人的勁,就是怒氣;借走那種猛衝的樣子,就是速度。
adjective · B2
Full of very strong feeling, especially anger, and strong enough that other people can see or hear it.
盛怒的
A fire burning at full strength — big flames, hard light, heat you can feel from a distance. Everything the word does elsewhere is that fire lent to something that is not on fire.
Blazing is the -ing form of the verb blaze, a fire that burns brightly.
blazing 就是動詞 blaze 的 -ing 形式,blaze 指的是燒得又亮又旺的火。所以這個形容詞從頭到尾帶著火的畫面,沒有離開過。
Wiktionary entry for blazing (source_ref kaikki:3f6f69a190036ae4:853631476): present participle and gerund of blaze. No separate etymology text is given for blazing itself.
