鑽進一個空間
這一支就是核心畫面本身,沒有轉成比喻。縫、身體、無聲,三樣都在字面上。
verb · C2
To move yourself, or a part of your body, smoothly and quietly into a narrow or crowded place.
鑽進、擠進(窄處)
Hold one picture for this whole word: a body going in through a gap that looks too narrow, following the curve of the opening, touching neither side, making no sound. Nothing is pushed. Nothing is announced. The thing is simply outside, and then it is inside, and you cannot name the moment it crossed. Everything else this verb does is that same entry performed somewhere other than a doorway — into a person's trust, or into a conversation.
Wiktionary gives insinuate as borrowed from Latin īnsinuātus, from īnsinuō 'to push in, creep in, steal in', formed from in- ('in') plus sinus ('a winding, bend, bay, fold, bosom'). The modern picture of following a curve inwards sits directly on that root.
Wiktionary 記載 insinuate 借自拉丁文 īnsinuātus,動詞 īnsinuō 的意思是「推進去、爬進去、偷偷進去」,由 in-(進入)加 sinus(彎曲、褶皺、凹處、懷抱)組成。今天「順著一道彎鑽進去」的畫面,正好貼在這個字根上。

鑽進一個人的信任裡
把那道縫換成一個人的心防,動作完全一樣:順著對方的喜好走,慢慢往裡面移,不驚動任何人。
verb · C2
To work your way into someone's trust, friendship or affection little by little, by acting warm and honest when you are not.
慢慢騙取信任
把一句話鑽進對話裡
這一支進去的是一段對話。指控沒有從正門走進來,它從語氣和問句的縫裡溜進去,所以事後可以說「我沒有那樣講」。
verb · C1
To say something in a way that lets people hear an unpleasant meaning, without ever stating that meaning openly — most often that someone has been dishonest.
