adjective · C1
Wood that is seasoned has been left to dry slowly before it is used, so that it will not bend, crack or change shape later.
乾燥處理過的(木材)
One way to hold `seasoned`: something has been worked on until it is ready to use. Salt and pepper go into the food and it finally tastes right. Wood is stacked and left until the water is gone and it will not bend. A person meets the same job for years until nothing shakes them. In each picture the thing is not new any more. Something was added to it, or time was allowed to work on it, and now it is fit for use.
