鉛在裡面
核心畫面最直接的一半:鉛被加進材料裡,成為這樣東西的成分之一。
adjective · C1
Made with lead in it, or treated with lead — used about things such as paint, solder, and heavy glass known as leaded crystal.
含鉛的
Lead put into something, or put around something. The word is just lead plus -ed, so every use is a thing with lead added to it: lead stirred into fuel or paint, lead melted into heavy bright glass, lead drawn into thin strips that hold small of a window together. One more thing travels with it: this word is said /ˈledɪd/, rhyming with bedded, because it grows from lead the grey metal and not from lead meaning to guide.
From lead (the metal, Old English lead) plus the ending -ed, giving the plain meaning having lead added.
來自 lead(金屬鉛,古英文 lēad)加上字尾 -ed,字面就是「加了鉛的」。
