A core is the hard middle of a thing: the part you cannot bite through and cannot squeeze. Hard-core can be pictured as that middle, laid over people and over material. The fans who are still there in the rain are the hard middle of a crowd, the part the bad season could not wear away. Material called hard-core is the middle too, in a different way: the part with nothing taken out and nothing covered over.
可以想成一顆果實最裡面那塊硬核。外面的果肉軟，慢慢會爛，中間那塊卻咬不動、也壓不扁。hard-core 就是把這個畫面放到人和內容上。一群人裡撐到最後、什麼都動搖不了的那一小塊，就是這個團體的硬核。一份內容什麼都沒有遮、沒有刪，露在最中間的那一端，也用同一個字。
