    A woman who is believed to have magic powers, especially powers she uses to do bad things to people.

    witch 是故事裡最常見的施法女性，而且英文的預設是「她的魔法會傷人」——這點跟中文的「女巫」有點不同，中文沒有那麼強的壞的暗示。故事裡的形象很固定：黑衣服、尖帽子、掃把、大鍋子。男性的對應詞是 wizard。
