Wiktionary 記的就是 tube 加 -ing。-ing 在英文裡可以做兩件事:一是把東西變成材料的總稱,像 piping、wiring;二是把動作變成一項活動,像 camping、cycling。tubing 兩種都用上了,這正好對應到它的兩族意思。
