這一組直接就是核心畫面:被推著走,沒有餘裕。兩個意思的差別只在形狀。後面什麼都不接,講的是人很忙;後面接 for + 名詞,講的是那樣東西不夠。兩個都偏口語,也都常常用來解釋自己為什麼要說不。

Very busy, with more to do than there is time for.
忙不過來
Picture someone with a hand at their back, moving them along a little faster than they would choose. They are still going forward, but there is no slack left — no spare minute, no spare coin, no spare effort. Pushed as an adjective can be held as that feeling of having nothing left over.

被推到極限之外:大概做不到
同樣一隻手在背後推,只是這次已經推到極限以外。前一組少的是時間或力氣,這一組難的是「把事情做成」。所以後面接的不是名詞,而是 to + 原形動詞。
