Inflection of pickle: pickle + -ed.
pickle（醃漬）加 -ed，醃過的。
Picture something that has been sitting in liquid long enough for the liquid to be all the way through it. A that went into the jar green and crisp comes out sharp and salty, and it will keep for months. The thing is not just wet on the outside; it has been changed right through. English then lifts that same picture and lays it, as a joke, on a person who has had far too much to drink.
可以想成一樣東西泡在液體裡泡得夠久了，液體已經滲進最裡面。小黃瓜下罐的時候還是脆的、綠的，拿出來就變酸變鹹，而且可以放好幾個月。它不只是外面濕了，是整個被換過一遍。英文再把這個畫面拿來開玩笑，套在一個喝太多的人身上。
