確保（美式拼法）
這一支和保險沒有關係，是 ensure（確保）在美式書寫裡的拼法。與其硬找一個比喻把兩者串起來，不如把它當成一個容易混淆的同形字記住。

To do something so that you are sure a good result will happen. This is the American spelling; British writing uses 'ensure'.

The same deal can be described from either end: the customer insures the car, and the company insures the customer. A third use, common in American writing, is really the word ensure ('make sure') wearing this spelling.
