heading = head + -ing; the head is the topmost part that comes first and stands for the whole, so a heading is the wording placed at the top of a text or a group.

heading 是 head(頭)加 -ing 來的。頭是身體最上面、走路時最先到的部分,也是我們用來代表整個人的部分——這三件事正好就是 heading 在做的:位置在最上面、閱讀時最先讀到、內容上代表下面全部。抓住 head 這個字根,兩個用法就會連成一個畫面。
