拿來買賣、運送的東西
核心畫面本身:那一箱真東西,先是被賣,然後被載著跑。
products for sale · noun · B1
things that are made or grown so that people can buy and sell them.
商品;貨物
Picture a crate being opened: inside are real, solid things — shoes, rice, phones — things somebody made or grew, and things somebody will pay for. Goods is that crate-full of actual stuff, always plural, never one thing. Every later use keeps two features of the crate: it holds real things, and those things belong to someone or are owed to someone.

財物;動產
該交出來的那批真東西
把箱子搬到人與人之間:你答應要給的、或別人要找出來的那個實物。這時 the goods 不再是商品,而是「真材實料的那個東西」——講的是有沒有真的拿出來。
deliver the goods · noun · B2
used in the phrases deliver the goods or come up with the goods: to do what people need or expect you to do.
不負所望;說到做到
被當成貨來看的人
箱子這次裝的是一個人。買東西前會先看有沒有破損,這個說法就把同樣的眼光放到人身上——所以它聽起來很不客氣。
damaged goods · noun · B2
used especially as damaged goods: a person whose past actions mean people no longer trust them or want their help as much.
聲譽受損的人
