    Uncontrolled feelings or behaviour keep going because the person is not holding them back or trying to stop them.

    「uncontrolled」講的是「沒有去踩煞車」的情緒或行為——哭、笑、生氣就這樣一直下去，因為當事人沒有想要停下來。可以想成 control（控制）前面加了 un-，就像手鬆開了韁繩，情緒自己一路跑。最容易混的是 uncontrollable：uncontrollable 是「想停也停不下來」（停不了），uncontrolled 是「沒有去停」（沒去踩煞車）。

Think of something that was never held on a leash, or whose leash has been let go: the feeling or the behaviour just keeps running in whatever direction it wants. The word points at the missing hand — nobody is pulling it back.
