有部落這個事實
這一組講的是那個圈真的存在:社會就是分成一個一個部落。
noun · C1
The fact that a society is organised into tribes — separate groups, each with its own leaders, land and customs — instead of into one single state.
部落制
You can picture a line drawn around a group of people. Inside the line are 'our people', with our leaders and our customs. Outside the line is everyone else. Tribalism is sometimes the line itself — a society really is built out of these circles — and sometimes the way people behave once the line is there.
tribal + -ism: the suffix -ism turns an adjective into a whole set of ideas and behaviour, so tribalism is 'acting along tribal lines'.
tribal(部落的)加上 -ism。-ism 會把一個形容詞變成「一整套想法和做法」,所以 tribalism 就是「照部落那條線來行動的那一套」。

圈畫好以後的心態
同一個圈,換個角度看:重點不在圈存不存在,而在人站在圈裡以後怎麼想、怎麼做。
noun · C1
Ways of thinking and behaving that come from strong loyalty to your own tribe: putting your own group's people, customs and interests first, and treating everyone outside the group as outsiders.
