核心畫面

Picture something harmful crossing the line into a body — through the mouth, through the lungs, through the skin. The word -ing wraps that crossing up into a thing you can talk about. You can look at it from the body's side, and see an illness. You can look at it from the outside, and see something that was done.

By surface analysis, poison + -ing.
