    obstinate 是「別人講什麼都不改」的固執，而且通常帶批評——說一個人 obstinate，等於在說他的堅持已經不講道理了。跟 stubborn 比，stubborn 比較日常，有時候還帶點可愛；obstinate 更嚴厲、更書面，常出現在正式的評論裡。跟 determined 更是兩回事：determined 是朝目標前進的堅持，obstinate 是擋在原地不肯動。

    Used before a noun to describe a mark, problem, or illness that is very hard to remove or to solve, even after many tries.

    文法只放在名詞前面修飾名詞。
