核心畫面

Picture a of things of the same kind pulled in tight and held close — a cluster of grapes, a fist of flowers, their stems gathered in one hand. The defining feel is 'many separate things drawn together into one compact clump'. Every noun and verb sense plays on that single picture: sometimes it's the clump itself, sometimes the act of pulling things into a clump.
