From big + -ie.
big（大的）加 -ie，指「大人物、大事」。
You can think of biggie as the word big turned into a thing you can point at. Someone looks at a fish, a box, a meeting, an album — and instead of describing it, they just label it: that is a biggie. The whole word is that one gesture of pointing at the large or important one. And because the pointing gesture is so simple, putting no in front of it does the reverse in one move: nothing here worth pointing at.
可以想成：把 big 這個形容詞捏成一個可以用手指的東西。有人看著一條魚、一個箱子、一場會議、一張專輯，不描述它，直接貼個標籤：that is a biggie。這個字的全部，大概就是這個「指出大的那一個」的動作。也因為這個動作這麼簡單，前面加一個 no，就一口氣反過來：這裡沒有什麼值得指的。
