The word you use for a person from Yemen, or for anything belonging to Yemen. It works two ways.

The word you use就是你會用的這個字for a person from Yemen指從葉門來的人，or for anything belonging to Yemen或屬於葉門的任何東西。It works two ways它有兩種用法。

As a noun it means a person: 'She is a Yemeni', 'three Yemenis came to the meeting' — and note the plural takes a normal -s, Yemenis. As an adjective it goes in front of a noun and means 'of Yemen': Yemeni food, the Yemeni government, a Yemeni passport, Yemeni Arabic.

As a noun當名詞用it means a person它是指一個人：'She is a Yemeni'（她是葉門人）、'three Yemenis came to the meeting'（三個葉門人來開會了）——and note the plural takes a normal -s要注意複數是規則的加s，Yemenis就是Yemenis。As an adjective當形容詞用it goes in front of a noun它放在名詞前面and means 'of Yemen'意思是「葉門的」：Yemeni food葉門食物、the Yemeni government葉門政府、a Yemeni passport葉門護照、Yemeni Arabic葉門阿拉伯語。

The definition line above describes the country; the word itself is the people-and-things word made from that country's name. Always a capital Y, like Japanese or Taiwanese.

Careful with one thing: for the language, we do not say 'he speaks Yemeni' — the language of Yemen is Arabic, and if you want to be exact you say 'Yemeni Arabic', which is a way of speaking Arabic, not a separate language. This is different from how 'Japanese' or 'Korean' work, where the country word is also the language word, and that is exactly where students slip.

Careful with one thing要小心一件事：for the language講到語言的時候，we do not say 'he speaks Yemeni'我們不會說he speaks Yemeni——the language of Yemen is Arabic葉門的語言是阿拉伯語，and if you want to be exact如果要講精確一點，you say 'Yemeni Arabic'會說Yemeni Arabic，which is a way of speaking Arabic意思是阿拉伯語的一種說法，not a separate language而不是一個獨立的語言。This is different from how 'Japanese' or 'Korean' work這跟Japanese或Korean的情況不一樣，where the country word is also the language word那兩個字國家名稱和語言名稱是同一個字，and that is exactly where students slip而這正是學生最容易搞混的地方。
