From New Latin therapīa, from Ancient Greek θεραπεία 'service, medical treatment', from θεραπεύω 'to serve, treat medically'.
借自新拉丁文 therapīa，源自希臘文「服侍、醫治」。
Picture treatment that works by over time rather than by one decisive act: sessions, weeks, gradual change. Not the surgeon's single operation and not one pill — a course of something you keep coming back for. That shape holds whether the thing being healed is a knee or a grief.
