Televisual means "to do with television". It is a rare, adjective — you will find it in film criticism, in academic writing about media, and in serious newspaper reviews, almost never in speech. Two uses are worth separating. First, it simply classifies: televisual style, televisual history, the televisual industry — that is, belonging to TV rather than to cinema or radio. Second, and more interestingly, it can praise: to say something is "highly televisual" means it works well on a screen, it looks good, it holds the eye. A story can be true but not very televisual, meaning it is hard to make an interesting programme out of it. In ordinary English you would just say "TV" in front of the noun — TV drama, TV news — and that is what nearly everyone says. Reach for televisual only when you want the formal, analytical tone.

組成tele- + visual. Tele- is Greek for 'far off, at a distance'; visual comes from Latin for seeing. So: seeing at a distance — the same idea sitting inside television itself.
