soon · r · A2
after only a short time; soon, without a long wait.
This is the adverb of quick, so it describes the doing, not the thing. Picture the same short stretch of time being talked about from three angles: the movement inside it is fast, the wait before it is short, or the whole job barely takes any of it at all.

used to say that something will only take a short time.
fast · r · A2
at a high speed; moving or doing something fast.
