The Pentateuch is the Christian name for the first five books of the Old Testament: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. They tell the old story of creation, the flood, Abraham’s family, the escape from Egypt, the law given at , and the long walk toward the promised land.
