Paederasty is the name of the act or the custom: sexual contact between a man and a boy. It is not the name of the person — that person is a . The word is formal and rather old. In history books it may name a custom in ancient Greece. In today’s English it names a crime: the sexual abuse of a boy. Though actually, everyday English often skips this word and says child sexual abuse, which is clearer and less like a museum label. British spelling paederasty; American pederasty.
