Imperturbably tells you how someone did something: in a calm, unworried way, even though there were problems. She continued imperturbably; he smiled imperturbably; they waited imperturbably. The adverb has the same formal, slightly written flavour as imperturbable. In speech people more often say calmly or without turning a hair.
