- 1H（英文字母的第八個；字母名稱讀 aitch）
H is the eighth letter of the English alphabet, after G and before I. You say the letter’s name “” — though actually some people, including many in Ireland, say “haitch” with an h-sound at the front, and they argue about which is right. In writing it can be capital H or small h. At the start of a word it is often a light breath (house, happy); in some British accents people drop that breath (“’ouse”), which is more about how a group speaks than about a spelling mistake. This entry is the letter itself. The same shape is also used as a short form for many other things, but those are separate uses.
組成From Latin H, which came from Ancient Greek Η (ēta). It does not split into smaller English pieces.
