One way to picture electrical: anything on the electricity side of things — the wiring, the systems, the trade, the that run on it. English also has electric, and the two split by habit: electric tends to sit on the single thing that runs on power (an electric kettle), electrical on the field and the wiring as a whole (electrical engineering, an electrical fault).
