From arrange, from Old French arengier 'put in a row, set in battle order' — a- 'to' + rang 'row, rank'. At root, an arrangement is things drawn up into a line or order.

來自 arrange,源自古法語 arengier「排成一列、列成陣勢」;a- 是「往」,rang 是「行列、位階」。所以 arrangement 的根本,就是把東西「排成一列、擺出秩序」。
