adapting to change · noun · B2
The process of changing the way you think, feel, or act so that you can get used to a new situation.
適應
Picture turning a screw a quarter-turn, or nudging a picture frame until it sits level. Nothing is replaced and nothing is rebuilt — one small move brings the thing into line. Adjustment is that move, and the same word covers the inner version of it.
