A win that came very easily — the other side was so weak, or gave up so completely, that you hardly had to try. Most often in sport and in competitions like elections: "The final was a walkover." There is a narrower, more technical use in sport too, where a walkover means your opponent did not turn up or pulled out, so you go through without playing at all — tennis and boxing use it this way, and it is sometimes to w/o on a score sheet. In ordinary talk it just means an easy victory, and it can carry a small note of disappointment: a walkover is not much fun to watch. It is a countable noun, so a walkover, two walkovers. Slightly informal, but you will see it in the sports pages.
