A describing word for something (or someone) not wanted, because it causes problems, is unpleasant, or has bad effects — "undesirable side effects" of medicine, "undesirable behavior" at school. As an old-fashioned noun, "an undesirable" refers to a person seen as unwanted somewhere, which can sound quite harsh today.
