Picture a toy as a small stand-in for a real thing: a car that cannot drive you anywhere, a kitchen that cooks nothing. It was built to be handled and enjoyed, not to do a job. Two ideas sit inside it at once - this is for play, not for work, and this is often a shrunk-down copy of something real.
