A right-handed person uses the right hand for skilled work: writing, throwing, cutting, brushing teeth. Most people are right-handed, so many tools — scissors, computer mice, school desks — were long made with them in mind, though actually that is less automatic than it used to be. You can say a right-handed pitcher in sport, or simply She is right-handed. It is a calm, factual word. It does not praise the person as correct; it only names the hand they trust.
