    To reword something is to say or write it again in different words, so it is easier to understand or more suitable. You keep the meaning; you change the wording. A teacher may ask you to reword a sentence. You might reword an email so it sounds kinder, or reword a question so a child can follow it. It is quieter than : can mean starting the whole text over. Reword is the small, careful change. Neutral — school, offices, and everyday speech (“Let me reword that”).
