From Middle English regime, from Middle French regime, from Latin regimen 'direction, government'.
源自中古法文 regime，來自拉丁文 regimen「指揮、治理」。
Picture a whole set of rules that is switched on and running: not one order, but the entire arrangement that decides how things get done for as long as it lasts. A country can be run by one; so can a hospital ward, a tax office, or a person's week of meals and workouts.
